Why Every Bride Needs a Makeup Design Appointment Before the Big Day?
Your wedding is the most photographic day of your life, so why would you leave how you look up to chance?
As a bridal makeup artist, I’m often asked if a trial is really that important, and I always answer with a resounding yes!
Personalization – Trails the best time to see how your inspiration photo actually looks on you, and allows me, the makeup artist, to adjust the look to best fit your face. Trails are designed to take more time than during the day off. I usually book for an hour and a half, but I will go over if we need more time because I want you to feel confident and look your best on your wedding day!
Prevent Avoidable Surprise - One of the first questions I ask when I am meeting with a client is, Do they have any allergies or texture issues? This is important to know because I do not want your skin to experience an unexpected breakout or a product not to lay properly on your skin.
Confidence – I want you to feel confident not only in your makeup look but also in me as an artist and vendor. During a trial with me, we get to know each other and speak about how you envision the day to go. I will ask you questions to start developing a schedule for the day off, and if I need to bring a second artist to accommodate the timeline set. We will talk about the bridesmaids and what I should know about this. I ask all these questions so you, as the bride,
A perfect example of why trials are important is June of this year. It was the day of Melissa’s wedding, and I started doing her makeup when she stopped me, saying, "Are you going to do the same look from my trial?" I paused and said yes, do you want to change anything about the look? She laughed, smiled, and said, Good, because I really liked it!”
Book your trial with me, so your wedding day is all about love and fun, not guesswork!
